The Lowville Free Library Director is a full-time position responsible for all day-to-day operations of the library. The director works closely with the Board of Trustees on planning and oversight of the library to meet the library’s mission, vision, and strategic plan: our primary directives are the education, enrichment, and enjoyment of our patrons and community as a whole. Areas of responsibility include personnel, patron services, programming and outreach, communications, building and grounds, collection management, technology management, planning, and professional development and leadership. The director serves as the public face of the library.

Salary and Benefits :
