Part-Time Library Clerk

The Marlboro Free Library is hiring a friendly and detail-oriented, part-time Library Clerk to join our circulation team!

In this role, you'll provide outstanding customer service while assisting with a variety of circulation tasks. These include checking materials in and out, shelving books and other items, helping patrons with basic technology and computer questions, supporting the smooth daily operation of the library, and other duties as assigned by the Library Director.

This position requires weekend and evening shifts, with flexible scheduling options. Approximately 10-15 hours a week.

Previous library experience is preferred. Starting rate is $17 per hour. Participation in the New York State Retirement System is optional.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous library experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks and technology
